The Role
We’re looking for a talented developer to join us on our mission to make Swordsman VR the best sword fighting game in VR. Swordsman VR has been awarded “The Best Updated PSVR Game of 2021” and is a PlayStation VR best-seller; we’re looking to build on this success. As a UE Generalist, you will work closely to design, implement and maintain new game features, third-party SDKs and gameplay-related systems. We are considering hybrid working options but encourage full-time remote candidates as well. This position is for a six-month contract with a possibility of a full-time role.
Responsibilities
What you’ll do:
- Program gameplay mechanics in Blueprint
- Work with engine physics systems (physics assets, physics constraint components etc.)
- Work with animation systems like Anim BPs and Blendspaces (animations always provided)
Qualifications
What you’ll bring:
- Game industry experience
- Experience with VR content
- Experience with VRE plugin
- Attend necessary meetings (10 AM EST)
- Proficient English skills
- C++ Programming
